International Sister Communities Conference. This successful conference hosted over 250 participants from the U.S., Nicaragua, Guatemala, and the United Kingdom. A more detailed report will come shortly. Below is the schedule and list of workshops that took place:

National Leadership Meeting: "A Better World is Possible." The Nicaragua Network National Leadership Meeting was held December 4-5, 2004, in Santa Cruz, CA. The overall theme of the meeting was "A Better World is Possible," with focused attention on water privatization and alternative development.
