to decide on our future campaigns and to learn from each other. Featured
speaker: Elvin Castellon, an organizer of "Let the Rivers Run," a water

International Sister Communities Conference. This successful conference
hosted over 250 participants from the U.S., Nicaragua, Guatemala, and the

National Leadership Meeting: "A Better World is Possible." The
Nicaragua Network National Leadership Meeting was held December 4-5, 2004,
in Santa Cruz, CA. The overall theme of the meeting was "A Better World
is Possible," with focused attention on water privatization and alternative
development.
